Hi

I am trying to send out a massive email blast through Marketo to a list of people, but I do not want to add these to our database. Is there a way to do this?

Not really.

You can upload the leads as a list (which it does), then send the email. Then delete the leads in the static list from Marketo.

But be careful because if it is a much larger blast than you normally run, your spam rate might be higher. It might be worth breaking up the list to send over a period of a few hours, especially for Yahoo.com, Hotmail, and Gmail addresses.

Hi Matt,
Not to my knowledge...
What is the business requirement for not adding them to your database?
If you don't want them to go into your CRM you could keep them in Marketo.
If you don't want them in either, database, though I never recommend it, you could delete after the email send.

Jennifer

I want to email them, but want the ones that are NOT ALREADY in our database to be Marketing Suspended (not recieve any of the Marketing emails). Is there a way that I can just delete the ones that are net new leads froim this import after I send the email?
