Question

Importing leads

One of our lasts steps for our Marketo implementation is getting data from our current database into Marketo. We have about 40K contacts. Is there a size limit to the amount of contacts you can upload at one time? Does anyone have any best practice ideas? (ie: breaking the list into smaller lists of contacts, etc)

I have imported lists this big before no prob...It may want you to batch it to lists of 10k...The key is to set all of the rules in the Admin tab around field update blocking prior to the list import so you don't trigger any unwanted updated to the CRM data...

You can import 40K with no problems (I've done over twice that in one shot) - just realize the larger the list the longer the import is going to take.

Ah, that's right it is exporting that has the 10k limit...
