Impact of using Forms 2.0 on SEO?

I am trying to get my company to use Forms 2.0 on our website pages intead of developer-built API forms.  (this is in addition to Marketo Landing pages we use for webinar reg, etc). My web team is concerned about SEO impact if we switch to Forms 2.0. Has anyone had any experience with this? Would love the pros/cons and general feedback. Thanks.

What is the SEO impact they are envisioning could happen from this change? 

I'm not an SEO specialist but I can't think of any reason why an embedded form would affect your rankings. If there's a reason they've cited I'd be interested to hear it.
