Hi Regie,

First check to see if that name is already in use.  If that's the case, you need to replace the existing image rather than uploading a new one.  Also check the size of the file, if it's too large it will not upload.

Also make sure that the file name uses dashes instead of spaces. Marketo won't warn you about this, but it can cause errors in your html.

Thanks for the reply.

Is there info online for img size limits? My image is about 130K.

130K is small - won't be an issue.  It's only when you get into large MB sizes that there will be problems.

And it looks like PNGs are the safest bet.

I am able to upload images to the landing page feature of Marketo.

But anyone knwo how to insert an image into the email body? When I try to, it asks for the URL of the image. Let's say I created it myself and it's on my local machine...How would I get that URL of the image?

@Regie you can't embed images into the email body.  You can only link to images stored on a webserver (your own or Marketo's).

@Regie

If you want to use upoaded images in email editor, see below.

At Marketo email editor, Drag & Drop a image icon tech.
After drop into editor,Marketo shows thumbnails and you can choice a image.

Or you go to "Images and Files". You can see uploaded image URL.

@Regie K, what @Takehiro M is describing is a shortcut for uploading the image into your Marketo instance + linking to it in one step.  It still is a hosted image -- Mkto doesn't support embedded images.

@Regie FYI the max size per file (image, pdf, mpeg, etc.) is 50MB.
