If a lead is deleted from Marketo, is it removed from SFDC campaign?

We have more contacts/leads in SFDC than we have email slots in Marketo, so I routinely try manage those so we have the right people in Marketo. My question is - if I delete the lead from Marketo (but not from Salesforce), is it also removed as a campaign member on any SFDC campaigns I have synced with Marketo campaigns?

    If you delete your leads in Marketo who are part of a program/campaign and it's synced to an SFDC campaign, I beleive they are still a member of the SFDC campaign.  

    I deleted some records from Marketo who were part of a program/campaign and was synced to an SFDC campaign.  When their records were cleaned up in SFDC and made available to sync back to Marketo, I noticed that they were still in the SFDC campaigs. 

    It might be different if you removed them from a Marketo program first before deleting them from the Marketo database.

    One additional question from a Marketo newbie: If a lead was deleted in Marketo but still exists in Salesforce, is there any way to “re-sync” it? If for whatever reason such a lead should be part of a Marketo program again, how would I bring it back into Marketo?

    Leads from Salesforce are re-synced to Marketo any time the record is updated. So you can edit something on the record and click save and it will be synced back to Marketo on your next sync. However, I think the Marketo activity has been deleted, so it may not get added back to the program - but you could manually add it to the program if it didn't sync.

    My recommendation is to update the record(s), wait half an hour (or less, depending on your sync time) to make sure it's synced, then check the lead in Marketo and see if it's added to the program.
