Hello, I'm new to Marketo!  Does anyone have tips for creating a great email campaign for an event (an invitation)?

We started to use the iPad app for check-ins on location.
This is really great. It enables you to automate whilst someone is attending the event.
E.g. Send SMS with welcome from the sales rep or send the slide decks or agenda of the day.

Don't forget about Marketo's new feature that lets you add a calendar link into an email--especially good for event invites.

I always like to send a personalized "last chance" type email from a prominent figure in the company....for us it would either be the person giving the webinar/main speaker at the event. No fancy HTML, just plain TXT with your usual email signature. It works like wonders....
