I dont Know Code But I Need to Create a Template

Our templates have copyright of 2011 on them. I went to edit the template but a source code screen comes up. I dont know HTML and dont have the money to pay for a web developer. Is there a way to build templates (and edit existing ones) if you dont know code??

You do need to know HTML and CSS to design a new landing page template or edit existing templates. I mean, you can just use a blank template an layer elements on to it in Design Studio, but to create a new custom template, knowledge of code is needed.

For your immediate problem, just pull up that code window, copy/paste everything into a Notepad txt file and save it as a backup. Now, on the screen with the code displayed, Ctrl+F, enter 2011 and Search, change the 2011 to 2013 and save. That should at least update your copyright date. Preview one of t he affected pages to ensure that it worked, then approve any active landing pages using that template.

ARGH! Ok - that's what I thought. I need to create a template and I dont know code so looks like Im stuck.

I did change the copyright but the change didnt take effect. I logged a ticket with Support for that one.

Christina, you have to approve the landing page template. Then approve your local landing page and refresh. The change should take. If you're previewing and it doesn't show the correct copyright year, go in edit mode and look to see if the change happened.
