How to transfer from one Marketo instance to another?

My company has recently acquired another organization that currently uses Marketo. We would like to transfer everything from their instance to our Marketo instance where everything else resides. Is there an easy way to transfer over data including leads, campaigns, assets etc from one Marketo instance to another?

Thanks in advance for your help!

The program import tool could possibly be used to cover programs, campaigns and the vast majority assets. You can export the leads from the old instance and import them into the new instance. The main thing that you will lose is activity history.

It might be worth creating a support case for more specifics.

You can ask your Customer Success manager at Marketo to help with this transition.

You may not need to take everything over, discuss what is working and what is not to determine what time and resources needed to rebuild any programs etc.

You can see if a data copy can be performed to a new workspace.

Example:
We wanted to split our Corp form Consumer team from our instance of Marketo. We got a new instance and requested a complete data copy of everything. This process took over all programs, flows, data etc. Then we could delete what we did not want and reactivite the programs we wanted. (The copy process by default turns off all activities, need to go through one by one to turn back on.)

Thanks everyone! Very helpful! I'll reach out to Marketo CSM too. Hope to get a response.
