How to Set Up an Unsubscribe Page

I'm new to Marketo, I had a hard time finding this information, so I wanted to post this for any other newbies to save them some time.

To set up your unsubscribe page for email, it's already created for you in the Design Studio, under Landing Pages. (You can customize the page.)

To enable the Unsubscribe page to work, you have to Approve the page. Then the unsubscribe link in the emails will go to this page.

You can also find it under Admin. On the left hand side you'll see the Email icon, click on it and you can change the HTML and text version. You can also change the wording for the view as Web Page in multipart.

Thanks Lori & Michelle, this info is really helpful!

One question though, it currently says "You have successfully unsubscribed from further matketing emails from Marketo"... Are we supposed to change Marketo to our own company name?

I think so. The one that Lori updated is for the confirmation that someone has unsubscribed. The other that I mentioned is to update the unsubscribe footer on the email.
