How to Send in X Days Using Engagement Campaign

I want to send emails out every 3 days to people who are in our trial. Using the engagement campaign, it looks like I am only allowed to send weekly. Is there something Im missing here? Do we areally not have the option to send every few days? I dont want to have to build all these crazy smart campaigns either (I thought the point of engagement campaigns was to make our lives easier :))

Well when setting it up weekly you can choose specific days of the week and get closer to every 3 days. E.g. send on Monday and Thursday. 

There is not really a better way to do this without building tons of streams or default programs with workflows.

Ok - I want to send on day 1, then day 3, then day 10 etc. so this is not going to work. Thanks anyways.

That is not an engagement program then. You would want to use the feault program with wait steps using a date token. 

You can accomplish the same thing as an engagement program with regard to not sending content they have engaged with before by using the constraint functionality on email send.

I was under the impression that the engagement programs were intended to act as a nurture (ie make creation/setup/management of nurture easier). This is a nurture campaign and it is not possible that the recipients would have received these messages. Alas, I will figure out another way. Thanks
