How to pull smartlist of failed syncs to sfdc?

We recently changed the values for our Country and State picklists in SFDC. We are working to update all the values but in the meantime folks are failing to sync because of a filed integrity issue on these fields. 

What filter would you use to pull a smart list of anyone who failed to sync because of these?

Kimi - they would probably continue to have failures until you fix the underlying issue - you could start with the state of that individual and do a value change to the equiv in the new picklist.

You might have to do this for all of the states impacted but that should get it mapped right then you don't have to worry about the failed synch - they would go over as data updates I would think...

How about using some Excel magic?

Identify the leads that may possibly be affected in SFDC in a report, and add the email address and state columns. Export the same list in Marketo. Then see if there is a difference between the two state values. Then you can update the field value and re-import back into Marketo.

Would that work?
