How to prevent freshly loaded leads to get campaigns until a specific program is launched

Hi,

I have a list of contacts that I would like to load today so I know how many I have, I can manually add info etc.

However I don't want them to receive any emails until a specific program is launched. How should I proceed?

Create a smart list that gathers all those leads, mass suspended them and before I launch my program I change data value to unsuspended? If so, can I do it in one flow? Change data value > Unsuspended > Sent Email ?

I would think its easier to import them to a static list in the first place rather than import them, then try to find them with a Smart list.

Import them all, open your list, and mark all of them unsuspend.

When you're ready to launch your program or campaign, you can unsuspend them (and re-suspend if youwant) within the flow smart list can be "member of list", Flow is (change data value to Unsuspend), send email, change data value to Unsuspend.

You could mark them all as marketing suspended for the time being.

@ Steve: that's what I meant "load them under a list". however I didn't think about adding re-suspend at the end of the flow. great idea. I have never done that before and I was afraid that if I had unsuspend in the flow, it wouldn't work and people wouldn't get my email.
