How To Map SFDC Fields To Existing MK Fields?

Hi,

We have used MK for two years with another CRM, now we want to integration MK with SFDC. We have many fields that are already existed in Marketo that we want to map to new SFDC fields. But when we start to sync the schema, we can't find the existing MK fields in the mapping area, so we are not able to map them to SFDC fields.

I wonder if anyone has done this before, like used MK for a while, and then integrate with SFDC later?

Thanks,

Leana

Hi Xiaoyu,

This is not possible, at least not by you. Ask support is they can help.

Yes, generally you need support's help to do this properly. The normal sync procedure is to pull from SFDC and Marketo auto maps certain fields. You will need to have the mapping you desire from Marketo to SFDC. Also, make sure fields are properly mapped in SFDC first.

Hi Leana,

Support is able to remap or merge a few fields at a time, but for a larger number like this you would need to reach out to our services department (services@marketo.com).

How has your integration gone? I'm going through the same process, and trying to find the 'right' way to do this seems impossible!
