How to make an editable area within landing page templates?

I'm working on setting up templates for our marketing team. I've been able to setup the templates for emails with editable areas, however, templates for landing pages with the "mktEditable" don't seem to be working properly. I see a dotted border around my container, but can't edit the copy when creating a new landing page from a template.

Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

LPs do not require the mktEditable area. Just design it so it is clear where text and forms are supposed to go.

But that's the problem... How does someone "edit" the landing page when using a template? The problem is
  • I have a template;
  • Marketing team goes in and creates a new landing page using the template;
  • By definition, the template should guide for them where they're supposed to make copy changes; but it's unclear how that works;
  • I need to create an "editable" area for them;
Does that make sense?
