How to make 2 column radio/checkbox answers on a form

I would like to change the radio button/checkbox answers from 1 column to 2 columns.  Is this possible?  I don't see a setting to change for this, so I'm assuming it would have to be a CSS override which I'm struggling with.

You're right in that you'll need to edit the CSS in the form editor. I had the same issue with one of my registration forms - the URLs below are a couple of discussion threads I started on how to add multiple columns to a checkboxes field type.
