How to get fields from CRM to be available to use in Marketo

I am trying to find out how to get fields from Salesforce (that are NOT showing up for use in creating smart lists for email campaigns -- but that ARE in the field management section of Marketo) to become visible to use to create smartlists. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Hi Taylor,

Can you please share the field name and the object type of those fields? If possible, share a screen shot.

Thanks

Yeah, that's weird, but there are some fields in Field Management that are not available for use in smart lists as they are considered system fields. Is this a standard or custom field? Are you able to tell us which field?

Fields created from Salesforce are automatically created in Marketo. Are these the custom fields which you have created?

If the fields you are looking for are in the Opportunity Fields folder in Field Management, you can only access them using the 'Has Opportunity' filter. Click 'Add Constraint' and you'll see all the Opportunity fields.
