How to create hidden field form with 'Marketing Suspended' as default?

Hi guys,

I've been looking to implement double opt-in. I would like to do the following:
  1. Registration form submit
  2. Profile created with marketing suspended 
  3. Email Receipt to registrant with link for confirmation

I'm stuck with the marketing suspended part. I know how to put a hidden field in a form, but can't seem to figure out how to create a hidden field which gives the leads the Marketing Suspended status by default. I've tried to use the field 'Marketing Suspended' (field type hidden) with default value 'true', but this didn't work. 

What would be the best way to do this?

So I just found out we've got 2 different fields, namely 'Marketing Suspended' (Marketo field) and 'Marketing Suspended (L)' (Salesforce field). 

For some reason I can only select the Salesforce Marketing Suspended (L) field rather than the Marketo field, which is why it doesn't work.

Any ideas of why this is?

That field is not avaiable to be used on forms, in both Forms 1.0 and 2.
If you want to mark all leads who fill out that form to be Marketing Suspended, best to add them all to a Static List. Create a Smart Campaign to Trigger Added to Staitic list. In the flow, use Change Data Value and here you can select Marketing Suspended. 

When all fill out that form they will be marked as suspended.
