Thanks, this is helpful. However, I tried doing some testing using one of these fonts but it only shows in English. How do I get it to show/type in Japanese? Should I just use the translator in Microsoft word?

In order for it to "show" on the user's end, you need to physically create the emails in Japanese.  For example, when my team builds a campaign for our team in Japan, they provide us with the actual content in Japanese, which is then copy/pasted into our templates.  We have special templates for our Japan market - where the primary font is Meiryo.
