How to create a Referral Landing Page?

We're trying to create a referral landing page. But want to make sure that when the referrer inputs their referrals information their information doesn't get replaced for the (referrer) but instead becomes a new lead. We tried disabling the munchkins in the template but that didn't work. Any advise? or templates we could clone?

If they enter a new email address it should create a new record.

But the form has a section for the "referral" contact information and the referrers contact information so they can be credited. But when we test out htis form the information for the referral gets put into the referrers information.

Lily, I think you should do some Community searching to graze over the many, many earlier posts on this topic.

In brief, when you post a form with an Email field, the form fields will be mapped to the lead with that email address.  And, by default, the Munchkin web tracking session will be re/associated with that lead. So you have to take specific steps to ensure that (a) the referrer's browsing/clicking history is not melded with the referral's activity history and (b) the form post for the referral contains their own email address and not the email address of the referrer.

Again, read over some old posts and I think it will become clearer.
