How many different forms are your using?

Hi fellow rockers,

I'm looking to decrease the maintanance load of having lots of forms. Since we have a web in 7 different languages I'd like to use more standardised forms and then just use 'on web page' contraints and similar in my campaigns. I'm thinking something in the lines of:
  • short form
  • long(er) form
  • progressive profiling form
  • PPC form (for use on PPC landing pages)
  • Unsubscribe form
Now to my question to the community: how many different forms are you using? Does my examples above make sense to you; am I missing any obvious forms or do you have a brilliant way of dealing with this?

You're right to deduplicate these.  General rule of thumb: never have two forms that look identical.
  • Short form and progressive profling form should be combined
  • Longer form should be used specifically to qualify highly motivated prospects, ie on a contact us page when your sales team has too many leads
  • PPC form can be combined with another form and use parameters to identify PPC leads.
  • Unsubscribe form will need to be unique
