how I do stop sales insights from creating salesforce tasks?

My sales team is complaining that the lead activities (clicked link, opened email, etc) are showing up not only in sales insight in Salesforce, but also in the activity history window in Salesforce. This creates confusion for the sales team, who would like the Marketo sales insights to show up only in the sales insight window.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Any suggestions?

Hi Emma,

There might be a Smart Campaign creating Completed SFDC Tasks for certain lead activities as you mentioned. You'll need to check out Activity Log for affected leads to find out more. You might also want to check in Admin -> Salesforce -> Edit Sync Options.

Late answer, but I was looking through this chain and Adam's got it - you can see the options in Admin -> Salesforce -> Edit Sync Options.
