How do you integrate a Wordpress blog and Marketo?

We're looking to automate emails for subscribers when we post a new blog post. Can this be done? We've only found one paid solution so far, seeing how others handle this. We'd like to handle it through a Marketo form so we can track in Salesforce.

The only automated way that I know of to send emails from a blog post is via Perkuto's product called Digesto:

Is this the one paid solution you mentioned in your question?

    Yes, Digesto is the only RSS automated solution. Marketo also uses it.

    You can definitely collect the emails via Marketo and track in SFDC out of the box. You just won't be able to trigger an email automatically without Digesto.

    Yes Digesto, we use it on our wordpress blog and other newsfeeds.
