Hi Carolyn, assuming that you don't want to get into the HTML of the page, you can draw a very thin, tall rectangle. If there's no inside to the rectangle, it will appear as just a bar. 

In the image below, the bar is created with 2 rectangles, each one pixel tall (easily modified in the property sheet), one that's gray and one that's white.
