Is there a way to setup filters for anonymous lists so it removes companies with inferred names of ISPs?

The help article Hide Anonymous Leads Without an Inferred Company explains how to do this for web activity reports, but there isn't a filter for this in smart lists.  You may want to vote for the Filtering ISPs from anonymous leads Idea.

Thanks, Elliott. I've just manually built a list of ISPs best I can to exclude.

I was curious if you have any preferred vendor for appending data to these anonymous lists?

I'm trying Jigsaw, but quality isn't great.

Without an email address or a name its hard for a data vendor to append to anonymous leads.  We use Data.com for our known Leads/Contacts/Accounts, and are looking at implementing Reachforce as well.

I have a custom list with over 3000 ISP's in a smartlist in Marketo. The smart campaign sets my custom field Is_ISP to true. If I find new ISP's I will add them to my list. I added this custom field to web activity reports in addition to the Marketo ISP setting (which only looks at the US). Too bad you can't use it for Insights in Salesforce.

Diederik,  great suggestion!  I have a little over 80 ISPs (mostly Noth American) in my list that I use mostly for form validation to ensure that we get business email addresses.  It would be great if you could share your list.  Can you provide a link?  If not, I would really appreciate if you could email it to me (elowe@conductor.com).  Include your email address and I'll share my list as well.

Thanks, Diederik.

I started a list of ISP's, but didn't get close to 3000. If you feel up to sharing, my email is (ari.echt@logicmonitor.com). Thanks again to both you and Elliott for the feedback.

Hi,

As smart list filters can only contain up to 2000 lines I had to reduce it.
I just sent you an email with the file.
I will zift through all my leads for new ISP's later this week.

We just switched from Act-On over to Marketo a few months back and it was super easy to filter these with Act-On.  They had a simple button you could click when you hovered over an ISP that let you remove the ISP permenantly by adding to a filter list.

Can't believe that Marketo doesn't have the programmers to add this to Web Activity Smart Lists?

The need to create custom smart list is a little daunting for a newbie.
