How do we get a unique company count out of a segment?

We have a list of companies and we want to pull the number of people for each company in Marketo - as there is no report based on "by company," how would you go about pulling this?

Use the Lead Performance report with a report Setup of Group Leads by Company Name (or Account ID) and a report smart list a Company Name (or SFDC Account ID) filter where you would add all of the companies.
