How do I update an email template so that all emails using it will be updated?

I have an email that is currently using a template and that template needs to be updated.

I can update the template and it works great for new emails.  However, the updates to the template do not show up in the emails that currenly/previously use that template?

How do I update an email template so that all emails using it will be updated?

You'll notice that when you update a template, all the emails using that template will now have an unapproved draft attached to them.  That is the draft with the new template.  You just need to approve them.
