How do I edit the plain text version of the email and not affect the HTML?

How do I edit the plain text version of the email and not affect the HTML? Every time I add a space for the plain text version, it gets reflected in the HTML version. I want them to be unique!

Hi Elizabeth,

The HTML and Text sections of the email editor are separate, so you would just edit the text side and the html side would stay as is.

Hi Elizabeth,

This is weird. One can normally edit the text version without changing the HTML.
