How do I add a lead into my leads database without importing?

This might be a bit of a basic question and I've tried searching around for this, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

Is there away for me to input a lead into a smart list in my leads database without importing? I've tried entering in the information for 'New Lead' which includes fields for First Name, Last Name, Email, and Company, but when I try to search for their name within that smart list to edit further information, I cannot find them.

Any ideas?

They must meet the criteria of the smartlist, and that would only happen if you are using criteria that matches one of those 4 core fields.

Go to the all leads list and search by email address (quickest) then edit the user from there.

If you are looking for a particular lead, you can click Lead Database, then use Find.

Or do what Clinton said because that's closer to what you are trying to do.
