I am new to Marketo and I have a requirement where I have to sync Marketo to Salesforce. While all campaigns should be synced to Salesforce, only certain leads should be synced back to Salesforce. Only the leads who have responded to the campaign should be created as leads inside salesforce and associated to the campaign. Is this possible? And if it is, can I have reference to how this can be achieved.

This is not possible if you sync all of your Programs to SFDC. When you sync a program to SFDC Campaigns, ALL the Program members are synced to SFDC.

If you want to restrict lead sync to certain leads, then you need to set up a central lifecycle system and NOT sync Programs to Campaigns.

My preference is to sync all leads to SFDC and use queues to manage that. See my guide here: marketingrockstarguides.com
