Helvetica font in email?

I just noticed the drop-down for FONTS in the email editor is offering me the option of using Helvetica, an awesome but as far as I am aware not web-friendly/standard font. Does Marketo have some kind of magic ability to make this font happen out in the real world of email rendering, or is this some kind of strange bug?

Interesting observation, Naor.

Helvetica is standard on Macs, but much less likely to be found on Windows systems. In a test email, it appears that the system substituted my default type face.

how do you set your default type face? Or in this case would it just render as Arial most likely? What a bummer, I got so excited for 5 minutes.

Exactly, Arial. Outlook and most browsers do allow you to set your own preferred serif and sans serif faces when the sender's font is not available, but they pretty much come designated as Times and Arial until you change them.
