I purchased an emailing list and I'm only allowed to email to them once.  But once they register those folks are mine to keep forever.  How do I purge the other folks out.

Assuming the purchased list was imported into a static list the simplest and quickest solution is creating a smart campaign to delete them. The smart list would consist of "member of list" (static list name) and the flow would be delete lead.

When I upload a list like this, it's usually under an email program and I call the list something like "Program Name.List (One Time Use)." Then I send the email with the call to action. Anyone who registers gets pushed to SFDC.

One month later when I close/archive the program, I copy the email stats (Sent, Opened, Clicked) and type those numbers into the SFDC campaign (because they will be altered once you delete the leads). Then I delete anyone on the list who is not a SFDC lead or contact.
