Hello! I have a question regarding data types.

 I see that there are only 12 data types in Marketo. I want to map the fields to saleforce CRM  later. Since the datatypes are different in salesforce and Marketo can anyone help me with "Dataype in Marketo and equivalent datatype in Salesforce CRM. Thanks ( While creating the custom fields in marketo ) 

Eg: There is lookup datatype in Salesforce CRM but in Marketo it doesnt have .

The best practice is creating the custom fields in the CRM and letting the sync to create automatically in Marketo.

In general data types are mapped as (SFDC-Marketo)
checkbox-boolean
currency-currency
date-date
datetime-datetime
email-email
number(scale: 0)-Integer
number-float
percent-percent
phone-phone
text/textarea-text
url-url
others-string
