Have your community profile follow you when you switch companies

I know many of us may change companies, it would be nice if there was some way to be able to have the points/badges/discussion subscriptions follow us or be transfered from our previous company to a new company. It is a bummer to switch jobs and start back at 0 on the community.

I agree.  I put in the same suggestion in 2011 when I started at a new company.

Hi Jana and Thomas,

Thank you for your idea. We can now do this, however there is a process. When you switch companies, be  sure to email me your old and new profile URL's BEFORE you start accumulating points on your new profile, and I can submit the ticket to get your rewards and points transferred over. Unfortunately, if you start acquiring points on the new profile the system doesn't allow it to transfer.
