Developing velocity scripts that use date formatting requires that your user locale is english, otherwise the script will not render correctly in the email preview, even if it works in the smart campaigns.

So this idea it to make the velocity rendering independent from the user's locale and work as if the email was sent from a smart campaign.

    Can be very troublesome and even a serious error-driver if the user works in a non english locale. The user develops the script, looks at the date and uses the display date to determine the parsing format. The velocity script seems to be working fine, until you want to send it through the smart campaign, at which point it comes up empty. If the test is not thorough enough, there is even a risk that the program and the campaigns go live broken.
