We have experimented and achieved light-box based progressive profiling form for capturing customer information linked to a Google Adwords campaign...Do please  connect if you  are facing similar challenges. and do please let me know your thoughts and ideas on Google Adwords and Marketo integration.

Not sure your specific issues, but I've found Bizible is effective for Adwords/Marketo integration through Salesforce.
