gmail plug-in tracking issue

Our sales reps are having issues with gmail plug-in tracking when they use it to send an email to multiple leads at one time. Only the first lead's activity is tracked in it's record, the activity is missing on all other lead's records.

Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, do you have a solution, or is plug-in unable to track to multiple recipients at one time? Thanks much!

You're correct - only the first lead listed in the "To" field is recorded as "Receive Sales Email" Activity Type. Do you use Salesforce? If so, you'll need to create a custom flow to push that activity to SFDC.

If you use Salesforce, you can add the "BCC Email to Salesforce" to the email and upon sending, an Activity will be recorded on each Lead/Contact record in the "To" field. There are many tools and technologies that will do this automatically as well. Check out Yesware or FloatingApps.
