GDPR - Opt in date/ time expiration?

Hi all,

I have been looking through our email opt ins as part of our GDPR prep work and I'm seeing a lot of date/ time stamps from about 10 years ago.

Will these opt ins have to be removed or renewed as part of GDPR?

Is there an expiration date for the opt ins i.e 12 months after last opt in?
