Freeze email

Before searching generally, I figured I would ask here.

Why do emails from marketo freeze my outlook 2010.

When I go to open an email from marketo in outlook (html email), outlook freezes and then crashes.

What is this? How to fix?

I may have answered my own question. The problem was I was using protocol local urls. This doesnt work in outlook e.g. I had image sources in the email with url like "//offers.domain.com/xyz". My Galaxy note handled this and gmail, but outlook will just die. Your source should be "https://offers.domain.com/xyz"
