Forwarding Emails?

We had a mistake and accidentally sent a small group the correct email with the wrong subject line. The emails were sent in Marketo but looked like they were coming from someone on our sales team. Our sales person wants us to forward these emails to him so he can reply to the forward with a personalized message to correct the mistake. Since he can't actually access these emails from his inbox, is there a way for me to forward him the sent emails through Marketo so he can do this. Or any other possible strategies? Thanks!

Brandon,

You can send the Sales member a sample of the email, which he can then forward on to the end recipient. Another thing to consider is that if someone does reply, the Sales member could be the "reply to" address, so that would save some time there as well and the Sales member can then respond directly.

Hey David! Thanks for the suggestion.

I would follow the approach that Brandon outlines above. Actually forwarding Marketo emails isn't a best practice because it often causes the HTML to break and the email template to look broken and messed up upon delivery.

Thanks for the tip, Courtney! Luckily it was only sent to a small group of people, so the sales team ended up sending personalized follow up emails to the recipients that opened the email to apologize for the mishap and continue the dialogue.
