Forward to a Friend link in Email doesn't send emails to Gmail

I used the marketo instructions to add a Forward to a Friend link in an email. The functinality seems to work and we received the forwarded email when sent to our corporate email address, but when we tried sending to gmail the email was never received.

We had two people testing this in separate locations, so it isn't a server/connection issue.

Any thoughts/comments?

Did you check the SPAM folder?

Of course! It's not in the SPAM folder. That's the second place I checked after the inbox.

It's been hours since the email forward was sent....

Did a lead get added to the database with the gmail address?  If so, what does the activity log say that the email was sent?

The activity log states that "Received Forward to Friend Email" at10:20AM (EST), but I never received it in my gmail inbox. I have received other emails in my gmail inbox throughout the day, but not this email.
