Forward to a Friend Issue - Email Validation

I attempted to insert the F2AF link in an email for a recent campaign, and in testing the F2AF link, the form submission came back and told me that it could not forward because it could not "verfiy the email" (I was testing and using my own address).  Has anyone else encountered this issue?

This has happened to me before. I think it doesn't work if you already exist in the database.

FTF does not work using Send Test.  You have to send out a real email to test it.

Thanks Cheryl!  It's so weird but I send test proofs to the editors and they never mention that the FTF doesn't work, and it didn't work for me, so I assumed that it didn't work because I'm already in the database.  I'm glad you responded! One editor however noticed that on the text version the FTF link gets truncated, at least from the recent test I sent out the other day.
