Forms for International Leads

What are your best practices for capturing international lead info from form fillouts? We are currently debating between adding an "International" option to the "State" field or adding a "Country" field (any other suggestions are welcome). The vast majority of our customers are in the United States so we haven't needed to adapt our forms to international users until recently. Any insight on what's worked best for your companies would be very helpful!

Hi Lucho, we use a country field and conditional visibility state fields. If the person selects that they're in the United States or Canada, a field appears requesting their state or province. This is easy to accomplish using forms 2.0, and doesn't add additional fields for countries where state isn't relevant.

Another thing I would add to that conditional logic.  If the user selects Canada or a Europoean country that now requires an opt-in in order to send email, you might want to also have a 'subscribe' button appear as well.
