How do you allow for only one answer for checkboxes? I see that select gives you the option to have multiple selections, but checkboxes do not give you the option to only have one selection, is this possible?

Hello Kristen,

Is there a reason you want to use checkboxes instead of radio buttons? I know that radio buttons will only allow the user to select one value out of a list of values.

Hi Val,

I feel a little silly now, I didn't know what raido buttons where (or at least that they were called that) until right now when I tried it.  Thanks!

Radio buttons should be used. You could use CSS to style them like checkboxes, but that could potentially confuse users. Val is right :)
