Forms 2.0 is alive

Hello Community,

I would invite you all to check out the Forms 2.0 feature in the January 2014 release.  This idea has been long in its arrival but I can already attest it is worth its weight.  This release has solved so many use cases where a web developer was required to perform some guru magic in order to get the forms to blend in function or style onto the landing pages.  The feature list is expansive and has two of my most desired features: full functionality while embedding on non-Marketo pages and mobile/html5 friendly. Marketo packed a lot into this release, so enjoy and explore.

Happy Forming

Cheers,
Eric

Great news!  The documentation is now live as well:

@Kapil - yes, we are using a single "yes" checkbox on our form.  We ran into some issues at first, but overcame them with disabling the auto-populate feature.  Read more here: https://community.marketo.com/MarketoDiscussionDetail?id=90650000000PlL2AAK

Thanks Eric for pushing and everyone at Marketo for coding this.  I'm replacing all the insane java forms this weekend on our site.  The first one took me exactly 37 mins to replace.

Hi there,

I'd like to use the same form for many landing pages in a multinational / multilingual website. Ideally, the field names will appear in local languages. Would forms 2.0 help with this?

Cheers!

Hi Reivick - This is not the intention of Forms 2.0. One Form per language.
