Forms 2.0 - 2500 Picklist Value Limit

We're running into the limitation of 2500 picklist values in Forms 2.0. 

The form has three tiers of questions - with visibility rules set up for tiers 2 & 3.

An example (not our actual scenario) would be: 
Tier 1: Country
Tier 2: State or Provice  (based on Country)
Tier 3: City  (based on State or Province)

In this example, there are more than 2500 possible cities in all countries, and all must be included in the values list. 

Is anyone else having this problem, or have developed a workaround using Markteto?

You could always add county (or similar) as workaround until this limit is lifted. Alternantly, you could allow the users to manually fill in the city. I don't have another workaround for this just yet. - Jeff

Hi,

Was this ever solved? We have the need to require city now in order to route lead alerts. Is there an easy way to do a picklist for this or is it best to just allow them to manually enter?

Hi Kim, 

No, to my understanding, the 2500 picklist value limit is still in place. 

Our work-around was to use java script and reference an XML document, which is more code-heavy than we would have preferred.
