Question

Form remembering person, but was not the form that was filled out

We don't often use the "if known" portion of Forms 2.0, but we do have one form that uses it. However, we were testing another form (not using "if known"), and when we happened to visit a page that does have a different form with the "known" custom HTML option, it did not show us the form for that page, even though that specific form was not filled out.

I guess my question is, is the "if known" option not on a form-by-form basis? Is it just cookie based? If cookie based, that seems iffy.

Hi Mike,

You're correct.  A lead becomes Known when they fill out any form, and it won't matter which form it was.

Well that sucks!  Thanks, John

Curious why that is not good. That is the intended functionality so the lead doesn't have to fill out the form again and still can trigger a Fills out Form on the back-end.

Is there something specific you want to do?

You can disable Show HTML if Known option on any Form and it is not on by default.
