Form 2.0 Standard prefilled field

Can anyone tell me how they can get a date prepopulate on their form? I've tried to manually enter it in the right hand rail as well selecting the date manually in the calendar on the actual form, but it keeps clearing out

is prefill selected for the field in the form editor?
Does the lead have a date in that field? Is this even a date field inside Marketo?

Hi

Thanks for your response! This is a new form i'm building- the prefill is selected. I'd like to have a date prepopulated to a default date and this should be available as it was on the older form builds...

Here's a screen shot for what i'm trying to accomplish...as mentioned i keep filling out the calendar, but it keeps clearing. I've also manually entered in the date in the right rail, but it doens't seem to appear on the form once i publish it... any thoughts?
