Form 2.0 acquired by not working

We are using form 2.0 on a web page and not a Marketo landing page.  We know that we have new leads that have filled out the form but we are not seeing the program populate the acquired by. Would anyone know why this is?

Hi Katie,

Acquired by is populated based on the Marketo landing page and not based on the form.  If this is on an external page, you'll need to set up a trigger campaign to set acquisition program.

Hi Katie, have you associated the form fillout with a program? This would be done by saying in the smart list of a smart campaign: Fills out form: xyz and then have some type of flow step related to that program's membership statuses.

If you've done this, are these leads new? Acquisition program will only apply if this was how these leads initially came into your database.

Thank you Kenneth!  I thought that was the problem but wasn't sure!  

Thanks Dory - yes I have a program, my statuses, and will need to do a batch and a trigger program based on initial lead source to populate the aquired by!
