Flash Object Integration

We want to use Marketo batches and triggers to push images to an ad space inside of the interface of one of our technology products. Is Marketo capable of controlling a Flash object by changing the image source (where the image is located) and image link (where clicking on the image takes you)? 

The other option our Tech department suggested is to set up a web server that integrates Marketo fields with the fields our Tech products use to make the image changes.

Does anyone know if the Flash object approach could work or have any other suggestions?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. So, is this an iframe in your application which we're showing? You might be able to do a landing page which displays it.

However, I think a much better bet is your second option- set something up to sync data with your webserver and then build something custom to serve what you want based on the Marketo data.

You can create a custom field in Marketo that stores the value of the image URL and link. You can then read/write to this field via the APIs. You can also use the value of this field as a token in an email template.
