Finding all forms that use a particular field

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew a quick way to "audit" what forms use a specific field? My company is in the process of removing fields and consolidating them but I want to make sure I've replaced the field we are about to retire on all forms that use it.

Example - I've moved data over from field "A" to field "B" and am now ready to delete field "A" but want to make sure that I update all forms that use field "A" and replace it with field "B"...

Any tips would be much appreciated!

There are 2 answers to this.

1. Optimistic: look at Used By 

2. Realistic: if you use the Forms 2.0 API at all to add hidden fields they will not be in Used By and there's no way to audit usage

    Hi Ellie -

    This is easy. Just go into Admin and click on Fields. Than select the field you are interested in and all the assets that use the field will be listed - including forms.
